As doulas in the Winston-Salem, Greensboro and High Point areas of North Carolina, we realized we had extensive knowledge of the many pregnancy resources, parenting resources, and baby and birth resources in the area.  What we also realized was, although we were able to share that knowledge with our Piedmont Doulas clients, we weren’t able to share and show it to everyone.  If other areas and cities could have an expo to celebrate and showcase their local pregnancy and baby businesses and organizations, why couldn’t we do that here in Winston-Salem?

To make it easy and accessible, we desired to have these pregnancy and parenting resources come together in one place, under one roof, once a year.  We found some of the best birth, baby, and parenting businesses in the Triad, added in children’s activities, active participant demonstrations, mini breakout education sessions (we call them Tiny Talks!), tons of prizes and giveaways, and put them all together in the beautiful Conference Center at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

This year, 2023, PITP is returning back to it’s original location at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Conference Center!  Admission is FREE.  At the event there will be over 50 vendors to visit, you can participate in demonstrations such as yoga for pregnancy, infant massage, exercise for moms, and our always popular Tiny Talks!  These are mini educational breakout sessions that take place throughout the day.
